When I say circle connection, I mean the idea that the beginning of her performance is connected to the end to form a so called “circle.” To do this she uses the universal topic of procrastination. In the beginning she starts off with a small idscussion of procratination and her experience with the problem. One memorable line from this initial discussion is: We went to lunch and were talking about procrastination and the waitress overheard us and she said, "I have a problem with procrastination, too." I said "Really?... Get my sandwich." After this she goes into the rest of her performance, which is all seamlessly connected as I explained before. At the end, she flows into the following statement:

“Procrastination is not the problem. It is the solution. It is the universe's way of saying stop, slow down, you move too fast. Listen to the music. Whoa whoa, listen to the music. Because music makes the people come together, it makes the bourgeois and the rebel. So come on people now, smile on your brother, everybody try to love one another. Because what the world needs now is love, sweet love. And I know that love is a battlefield, but boogie on reggae woman because you're gonna make it after all. So celebrate good times, come on. I've gotta stop I've gotta come to my senses ive been out riding fences for so long... oops i did it again... um... What I'm trying to say is, if you leave tonight and you don't remember anything else that I've said, leave here and remember this: Procrastinate now, don't put it off.”

This connects the beginning to the end with discussions of procrastination and also lends an explanation of why she discussed everything in her performance. To come to this final claim that procrastination is good.

Now that I have examined all the connections within the performance, I would like to draw on one more connection resulting from the DVD itself:

The Time Connection.
