Since 1978 I have been photographing, and, more recently, making videos of
buildings and monuments. Castles in Northumberland, England. Megaliths in
Sweden. This has become an experiment in landscape. Overall it has been a
disatisfying struggle with the landscape aesthetic >>landscape: from
fine art to archaeology (a course that critically questions ideas of landscape).
These experiences have led directly to the
>>Three
Landscapes project.
My latest experiments are in Traumwerk (a Metamedia project) - ruins more
metaphorical perhaps.
