Hello, and welcome to the 2006 Dunstanburgh wiki.
Here you can see all of our work on the site report
of the medieval Dunstanburgh Castle.

The Plan: Here, we'll be exploring the place which came to be the site of the Dunstanburgh Castle on the Northeastern coast of England in the modern county of Northumberland, built by the Earl of Lancaster in 1313 AD. We hope to provide a new and unique view of the site through the theme of "The Visitor".

Through narratives in various styles from the points of view of characters in different time periods we will be able to show how the site has changed over the ages.

But these Visitors will be more than mere tools to show chronological change. They will also allow for the site to be viewed from the different perspectives gained from various social, political and economic backgrounds as well as the historical perspective.
