Nancy Sorkin Rabinowitz is the Margaret Bundy Scott Professor of Comparative Literature and Director of the Kirkland Project for the Study of Gender, Society and Culture at Hamilton College. She is the author of
Anxiety Veiled: Euripides and the Traffic in Women, the co-editor of
Feminist Theory and the Classics and Among Women: From the Homosocial to the Homoerotic in the Ancient World, as well as the translator and co-author of
Women on the Edge: Four Plays by Euripides. She is currently at work on a study of women in vase painting, with Sue Blundell, and a study of “Greek Tragedy: Then and Now.”
