Here is my family! From the left, my little bro (he is in 7th grade, he is an athlete, an excellent student, and an overall big time stud!), me, my sister (she is going to graduate from UCSB this spring with a double major in Sociology and Religious studies... WOW! and she is an amazing singer and the best big sister ever) and then my dad and mom (the most influential people in my life, completely supportive and always pushing me to be the best that I can be) I love you guys!

I went to Greece the summer after my freshman year in highschool... we visited Knossos, I didn't completely understand what I was experiencing but I still remember being completely in awe of everthing. It's an absolutely fabulous place to visit and I would go back in a heartbeat.

To put it simply, this class was a lot better than I ever expected. Besides learning about absolutely cool sites all over Europe, the whole collaborative digital authoring aspect of the class was something I have never experienced before. I am not very fond of writing papers and so I was not looking forward to fulfilling my PWR II requirement. However, this class didn't even feel like I was writing a whole research paper even though I probably researched and wrote the same amounts. Having the ability to link everything together and make a complete web out of nothing was unreal. At the begining I was a little intimidated by the Wicki, but it ended up being very simple to use and very usefull in collaborating with my group. I am very glad I ended up taking this class, not only did I get to research Knossos in Greece, I was introduced to a whole new aspect of digital authoring and creating websites.
